Saturday 5th December 2026
10:00am – 5:00pm
Deliverance Dogs, near Castle Combe, Wiltshire
A practical day of obedience training, with relationship, clear communication and the dog’s desire to work at the centre.
My approach starts with want before technical: developing a dog who enjoys working with you and wants to take part, then building understanding and precision from that foundation.
We’ll explore how play, meaningful rewards and the way we communicate can support enthusiastic, connected obedience. Technical exercises will be developed with attention to how the dog feels, what they understand and the relationship between dog and handler.
The day will focus primarily on practical training, with explanations and discussion alongside the work. Each handler and dog will work individually on their stage of training and the areas they would like help with. Watching the other partnerships will also be an important part of the day.
Suitable for those starting their obedience foundations through to handlers developing competition exercises.
