Saturday 5th December 2026
10:00am – 5:00pm
Deliverance Dogs, near Castle Combe, Wiltshire
A practical day of obedience training, with relationship, clear communication and the dog’s desire to work at the centre.
My approach starts with want before technical: developing a dog who enjoys working with you and wants to take part, then building understanding and precision from that foundation.
As a spectator, you'll have the opportunity to watch a range of dogs and handlers working at different stages of their obedience training, from early foundations through to competition exercises.
Throughout the day, we'll explore how play, meaningful rewards and clear communication can develop enthusiastic, connected obedience. You'll see how technical exercises are developed while keeping the dog's understanding, emotional state and relationship with their handler at the forefront.
The day will be primarily practical, with explanations and discussion alongside the training. Watching different partnerships, the challenges they encounter and how we work through them provides a valuable opportunity to learn and take ideas back to your own training.
Spectator place: £45
Please note: Spectator places do not include practical training with your own dog.
