My approach to every form of dog sport places relationship and communication between dog and handler at the centre of the training.
Saturday 10 October 2026
Castle Combe, Wiltshire
Full-day workshop: 10.00 - 17.00
This workshop explores what that looks like in practice—not only within individual exercises, but in the entire way we train, communicate and work alongside our dogs.
We will begin with an in-depth exploration of the theory behind my approach, looking at the foundations of relationship and communication and how these influence motivation, clarity, understanding and the quality of the work we create together.
We will then bring those ideas into the practical training. Each handler will receive individual time to explore how the principles can be applied to their own dog, their existing training and their chosen sport.
This is not a workshop focused on one particular discipline. It is suitable for handlers from any area of dog sport, from those at the beginning of their journey through to experienced and competitive handlers. The work will be adapted to the individual dog-and-handler team.
The day will combine theory, discussion and practical training. Handler numbers are deliberately limited to allow time for a deeper and more individual exploration of each partnership.
Spectators are very welcome and will be included in the theory and discussion throughout the day. Spectator places must be purchased separately using the Spectator place ticket.
